BIG-IP Edge Client is a secure remote access application that provides VPN connectivity to corporate networks and applications through BIG-IP Access Policy Manager (APM) gateways. It establishes an encrypted tunnel so employees and contractors can reach internal web, client/server, and cloud resources from managed or personal devices. The client supports single sign-on, multifactor authentication, endpoint posture checks, and policy-based access such as split tunneling and per-resource permissions. It delivers a seamless experience with automatic connection and session re-establishment when networks change or drop, helping maintain productivity while roaming between Wi‑Fi and cellular networks. Administrators can centrally define access policies, compliance requirements, and user groups, while the client enforces these controls on the endpoint. BIG-IP Edge Client is available for common desktop and mobile platforms and is typically deployed as part of an organization’s BIG-IP APM solution. Note: Use requires a properly licensed and configured BIG-IP APM gateway provided by your organization’s IT team.
